Comic books are a gateway…

We got this photo after Comic Con this year, with the caption, “A is up late reading the book he got at Comicon (while camping out inside a pillow fort).  He’s never stayed up late to read a book before!” It’s always great to see children turning into readers!

One of the Read Santa Clara tutors is now a published author

What does Chicken Soup have to do with Read Santa Clara? Well, we learned that a Read Santa Clara tutor had her story, Back to Basics, published in the latest Chicken Soup for the Soul book! It’s based on her tutoring experience, and shows how tutoring helps both people learn. Congratulations to this amazing tutor!
