Happy New Year! This month’s book sale will take place on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20. Set up will take place on Thursday, Jan 17 and Friday, Jan 18. Clean up will take place on Monday January, 21 from 10am-Noon.
We can use help with:
1/17 Thursday Noon-2pm 1-2
- volunteers to help move boxes from the within storage within the library to the Redwood Room
1/18 Friday 10am – 2pm – 12-15 volunteers, including
- setting out books
- setting up tables and chairs
- moving boxes and carts
- picking up and setting out lunch
- lunch clean up
1/19 Saturday 10am – 3pm- 15-17 volunteers, including
- monitoring rooms
- helping customers
- tidying up 10am -2pm
- cashiering 10am – 2pm
- clean-up 1pm-3pm
1/20 Sunday 1pm-4pm -2-3 volunteers, including
- monitoring rooms, tidying up 1pm-4pm
- cashiering 1pm-4pm
- helping customers 1pm-4pm
1/21 Monday 10am-Noon- 10 volunteers, including
- Pushing carts of boxes to recycling truck
- breaking down boxes
- Returning carts and boxes to the garage
Please, please, R.S.V.P. and let me know if you can participate on any of the above dates. This will be our biggest sale of the year, and we can really use your help. We will be serving hot ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Please plan accordingly if you have special dietary needs.
