Support STEM programs and more at the library

Your support of the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends provides all kinds of classes, events, and resources at the Library. Typically, when you think of the library, you think of books and reading. But a library is a place for lifelong learning of all kinds!

Here in Silicon Valley, there is a huge demand for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning, including at the library. Your support of our organization has made the following STEM resources possible at the library:

  • Girls Who Code,
  • Seed Library for anyone who wants to garden,
  • Science Talks from The Big Bang to learning more about Self-Driving Cars,
  • Hotspots for checkout,
  • Hands on Science classes for children,
  • 360 degree cameras,
  • Women in Science networking events,
  • Galileoscopes,
  • and more!

Your gifts make everything we do possible. Please consider making a donation to support literacy in both language and science in Silicon Valley in 2020. Donate today.
