Librarypalooza is only one week away and we’re so excited!
Mardi Gras is such a fun holiday to celebrate, and we’re hoping to do it justice. We’ll have:
- beads and masks;
- the finest jazz music from Vanguard; and
- delicious Cajun food – red beans and rice, beignets – from Mission College Catering.
Let’s not forget a silent auction full of donated goodies from local businesses like Illusive Comics as well as only-at-the-library specials like Lunch with the Librarian, Mary Hanel’s famous and popular walking tours of historic Santa Clara, and a Harry-Potter themed craft time!
This fabulous event is both to celebrate our fabulous supporters, but also to raise money to support Santa Clara City Library and all it does to make Santa Clara and Silicon Valley an even more awesome place to live. Your support at an event like this allows the library to do so much, like
- ESL Classes,
- Comic Con,
- Summer Reading,
- the new sensory storytimes at Mission Library, and more!
