Volunteers of the Beautiful Foundation and the teen group “In Our Unity” (IOU) raised $6,000 to invest in resources for Korean-American children, adults, and families at the Santa Clara City Library. The funds will go to purchase materials for children, many of whom were born in the U.S., who want to learn more about the culture and history of their parents’ homeland, as well as adult DVDs, books, and Korean cultural programs.
