On Thursday, 10/25, over 500 people came by to see and sign one of the final steel beams that will be installed in the Northside library building. Notable people to add their names to the beam included Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews, several current council candidates, members of the Santa Clara Library Foundation and Friends, Santa Clara firemen, employees of Keypoint Credit Union, and hundreds of children and adults from the surrounding area. Soon this beam will be installed in the front tower portion of the building!
