Celebrating Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros!
Celebrate Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros on Friday at 10:30am at Northside Library with an outdoor paleta storytime. You’ll read, learn, and sing in both English and Spanish. After the story, your child will make their own paper paleta (popsicle) craft.
The Library’s Youth Services staff has been holding special English and Spanish story times out in the community for the last month to celebrate Día de los Niños. There are stories and crafts. The bookmobile comes so families can get library cards and check out books.
Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros is one of the literacy programs we support. We co-sponsor these events with the California State Library and the Southern California Library Cooperative.
