Volunteers raising funds to support programs and collection materials for the Northside Library have already raised over $40,000 from residents excited about the new Library. A special thank you to the Watanabe family for sponsoring the Periodicals Area, Mei Ling for sponsoring the self-Check out Area, the Ramirez Family for sponsoring the Friends Book Alcove, and Sudhir Shaw and Sara & Dave and for sponsoring the Study Room. Eighteen families and individuals are sponsoring leaves on the donor tree, and newly Elected Santa Clara City Council Member Jerry Marsalli donated $1,500 left from his campaign funds to support this new branch.
