Being grateful for mom and libraries and robots and turkeys

Youth Services encouraged the kids who come through at Central Park Library to write down what they’re thankful for on paper feathers during November. Then, they put this turkey together, so everyone can see! It’s a great project, and it reminds me how important it is to be grateful.

If you can’t read the feathers, here’s a sample of what the kids wrote:

  • I am thankful for my parents
  • Everyone and robots
  • I am thankful for Librarys (smiley face)
  • I am thankful for my parents, health, school, everything
  • Everything in my home and in my life
  • For Being capable of moving from Jordon
  • I’m thankful for a roof over my head (heart)
  • CHOCOLATE
  • I’m thankful for my mom always there for me
  • I am thankful for having a little brother.
  • I’m thankful for turkeys

Happy holidays, all!
