We are optimistic about 2022. We’re anticipating that the library will be open more hours, more days; we’ll be able to have our big monthly book sales again; and there will be more classes and events that we all find both educational and entertaining.
And that’s great, because the library gives us all an outlet to be who we are:
- to read the books that delight and educate us,
- to watch the movies that speak to our souls,
- to paint the picture we need to see in the world, and
- to meet our people at our favorite classes like ESL Book Club and events like Comic Con and Summer Reading.
2022 should bring more of all of these things, and the Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends will sponsor them. But we can only do it with your help. Your donations bring the Santa Clara City Library to life, and give our community the dignity and optimism it needs and deserves.
