“Orientation provides an overview of Read Santa Clara and describes the role of tutors and other volunteers in the program. You also learn more about the tutor training process. An opportunity to register for the tutor training class or indicate interest in another volunteer position concludes the session, but there’s no hard sell. This is a chance for you to learn and ask questions about the program so you can decide if you want to pursue it further.
