Giving Tuesday: Helping Santa Clara Stay Fit

fitness classes

Do you ever feel the need to get up and move more, but you don’t want to pay for a gym membership? Or are you curious about Zumba or another fitness workout but you’re not sure if you’ll like it? Or do you just not know how many steps you can take in a day? The Santa Clara City Library can help!

They offer fitness classes for free, with help from Kaiser Permanente; additionally the Foundation & Friends helped the library buy FitBits that circulate from the Northside branch. We could not have made either of these happen without your support. Your donations help keep Santa Clarans moving and in shape!

#GivingTuesday is tomorrow, Tuesday December 1st! We want you to donate money to the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends. Of course the money you give to the Foundation & Friends buys books and DVDs. But it also funds other wonderful things, like exercise and fitness programs.

Please donate on December 1st. If you donate more than $150 tomorrow, your name will be entered into a drawing for a football from the 49ers signed by Reggie Bush. Thanks for your support!
