This month starts a celebration of the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends’ 20th anniversary. We were founded in 2001 by Nancy Toledo and others at the time the Central Park Library was being rebuilt.
With your support, we have raised over $3million for the Library; supported programs like Comic Con and Summer Reading; conducted community events like The Big Read; started Librarypalooza, our annual fundraising gala; helped hundreds of volunteers be active in their community; and sold thousands and thousands of donated books to help spread the love of reading and books through Silicon Valley.
None of this would have happened without you and your love of the library. Supporting your library is one way that you support your community, and that’s more important than ever now. So celebrate with us as we celebrate everything we’ve done for the past 20 years and look forward to the next 20 years!
