Many of you who knew Jan Lieberman know that she passed away last November. We have gotten some very heartfelt tributes to her, showing just how beloved she was by so many people throughout our community. This one particularly moved us:
Dear Library,
Jan Lieberman was my favorite teacher – by far – when I was in Library School at San Jose State. I am so happy that my husband and I stayed in touch with this wonderful woman and her equally delightful husband. Their devotion to each other was always a delight to behold.
I still have so many children’s books, gits from Jan, and recommended books too. My children love them. Now my grandchildren do too.
She was a beloved teacher, friend, and caretaker in the community. She is missed.
