The Santa Clara City Library has expanded its prizes for Summer Reading this year.
Everyone who signs up is eligible for a weekly prize raffle, a prize to pick up in August, and a raffle for a grand prize. It’s a lot!
Kids Prizes
Kids (12 and under) who win the weekly raffle will get to pick a prize from the treasure box. Kids who participate at any level in summer reading get to pick a book in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all kids who participate in summer reading to win an annual pass to The Santa Clara County Parks. See a flyer for the kids prizes.
Teen Prizes
Teens (13-18) who win the weekly raffle will get to pick a book. Teens who participate at any level in summer reading get a free Stan’s donut in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all teens who participate in summer reading to win their choice of: an art box, a gaming box, a ukulele box, or a Nintendo Switch Lite. Adult Prizes
Adults (18+) who win the weekly raffle will get a free device charger. Adults who participate at any level in summer reading get a coupon for a free item at the Friends of the Library Bookstore in August. There’s also a grand prize raffle for all teens who participate in summer reading to win an annual National Parks Pass. See a flyer for the adult prizes.
How to enter
You get entered once in the drawings when you sign up for summer reading. You can earn more tickets in the raffle when you read more days or participate in activities on the second page of the summer reading map.
