It’s Pride Month at the Library! We’re happy to support this great, inclusive event. There are movies and crafts and discussion panels and more happening at all the branches this month. Check out the full schedule!
You can find the library’s special display near the cafe, by the Parkside entrance to Central Park Library. There you can find:
- books by queer authors and/or with queer stories,
- Pride Month event brochures,
- bookmarks,
- reading lists,
- a donation bin where you can donate unused toiletries to an LGBTQ+ youth shelter, and
- the City of Santa Clara proclamation recognizing the month of June as LGBTQ Pride Month.
Additionally, keep an eye out for books throughout the collection with a rainbow on the side. These books are available all the time, not just during Pride Month.
