The Mission City Community Fund Granted SCCLFF $5000 To Support Literacy
A special thank you to Mission City Community Fund who awarded the SCCLFF $5,000 for the purpose of publishing In Our Own Words, a book of writings by adult literacy students in the Read Santa Clara Program, and a shorter brochure version of the text that can be used for publicity and outreach. Mission City Community Fund has a big heart for literacy – last year their grant was able to purchase learner resources and provide the beginnings of a fund which eventually led to the purchase of six laptops.
