Read Santa Clara primarily exists to help people of all ages improve their reading skills. But it’s also about connecting volunteer tutors to individual learners. Learners will meet with the same tutor for a series of weeks. So not only are people improving their literacy skills, they’re also making new connections in their community. People become friends, they support each other, they’re proud of each other and everything they accomplish together.
