Everyone who works at the library wants everyone to read. Librarians understand that the best way to get people interested in reading is to meet them where they are. Different patrons want different things, like
- reading graphic novels,
- improving themselves,
- looking for the optimism that a romance novel can provide,
- reading the classics.
Everyone has their own reasons for being in the library.
The Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends is an organization that supports The Santa Clara City Library. We provide funding above and beyond what the city does. And that allows the library to try programs like Comic Con or buy resources like books for the ESL Book Club.
