When you add the Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends to your will, you’re giving the library space to experiment with new classes and events they might not otherwise. For example, the first Santa Clara City Library Comic Con in 2016 was funded by a bequest. It was too new and unproven for much, if any, corporate sponsorship. So we used these funds to support Comic Con – which immediately became a hit! And we wouldn’t have been able to do that without people donating to us in their will.
