Last Friday night after hours, the Library and the Teen Library Council (TLC) hosted a Mystery Masquerade just for high school students. This program was conceived , planned, and carried out by TLC members. All, but one of the 14 members came. They did a great job of advertising it to their friends and their friends came. It was a sold out event!
And you know what? It was awesome. Teens came and ate, solved a murder mystery, danced, took TONS of selfies, and had a great time and then, ate some more. They wore masks, some were dressed in suits and party dresses, but all were dressed for fun! Attendees also donated more than 25 pieces of warm clothing that will be donated to the Bill Wilson Center for teens who need them.
