After seven years, the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends (SCCLFF) said good bye and good luck to Executive Director Maria Daane. Under Maria’s visionary leadership, the SCCLFF grew its fundraising base and took on new challenges. Maria was instrumental in both the administration of the Northside Library’s construction and the advocacy for its completion. Maria is moving on to work in grant administration at West Valley College. We wish her the best!
Associate Executive Director Tracy Wingrove is taking the reins at the SCCLFF as interim executive director. Tracy has been responsible for managing the book sale operation and its volunteers, the financial aspects of the operation and, with the Board, the successful Love our Library Lollapalooza fundraisers. Tracy and Maria have worked together for four years. She is passionate about the Library and looks forward to continuing Maria’s good work.
