Summer Reading 2022 is here!
It’s time for Summer Reading!
Summer Reading is one of the biggest programs The Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends support at the Santa Clara City Library. It helps stop the summer slide in students’ reading skills, and provides fun activities for you and your kids during the summer months.
How to sign up
The Summer Reading rules are simple: print out or pick up a summer reading map from your local library and register online. Mark each day that you read – you don’t have to read a certain number of books or an amount of time. It counts if you read that day, even for just five minutes. You get an additional raffle ticket for the big prizes at the end of the summer for each day you read.

Concerts and Performances
Also, the library activities are back this year, after two scaled-back summers. All three branches will be using the closest parks to host fun family events like Taiko Drumming, magicians, and more! There will also be weekly family activities at each branch, like crafts and games.
