A rousing time had by all at Holiday Jazz concert in Redwood Room!

New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band performed to an overflowing crowd who danced and clapped along.  The band thanked retiring librarian Jane Botsford for bringing them to the Library.  Jane and her husband worked for Preservation Hall for many years before moving to the Bay Area. The Foundation & Friends proudly sponsored the event.

Santa Clara Pioneer portraits now hanging in the Heritage Pavilion

The 1844 portraits of Santa Clara pioneers Dr. Arthur Wellsley Saxe and Mary Judson Saxe have been donated by their descendant Suzanne Burke to the Santa Clara City Library.
